This unique gown was featured in the Convergence 12 fashion show in New
Orleans.
It is made from a modern material ~ heavy black fabric backed pleather,
but features historical detailings such as the decorative Elizabethan
tabs which frame the armholes and dropped waist. The squared neckline
and center panel of the princess seamed bodice are trimmed in black
braided soutache, while the skirt portion of the gown is full with an
A-line flare, and there is a short train in the back. The gown has
lacing in the back which helps to create a customized fit. Uncinched,
the chest measures approx. 38", the waist approx. 34", and the overall
length from shoulder to hem in front is 55 1/2" and the length in back
is 64".
