One of a Kind Victoriana Jabot by Kambriel
~ Antique 1800's Sheer Embroidered Netting Embellished w/ Jet Beadwork
This one of a kind sheer black jabot by Kambriel will bring a
romantically refined touch to your ensemble & is made with
genuine antique Victorian (circa 1880) embroidered netting embellished
with shimmering handcut jet beads. It has a tiny ruffle of antique
ivory lace edging the upper neckband while the lower portion has been
edged in pleated black satin. Since it's sheer, you can either layer it
atop black/darker colours to highlight the texture of embroidery
& shimmer of the beading, or wear it atop a paler/ivory/etc...
colour to really show off the design of the embroidered netting for a
different look!
SIZING: The jabot's neckband
measures a bit over 13" with ribbon ties in back to accommodate a range
of sizes, and the overall length in front is approx. 7 3/4" long from
the top of the ivory ruffle down to the lower edge of black satin. In
lovely condition overall considering the age & delicacy of
materials used, it's an elegant one of a kind piece with a real sense
of timelessness.
