Vintage Art Nouveau Belt Buckle

This elegant vintage Art Nouveau belt buckle is very sturdily made and cast from silver toned metal—most likely solid pewter, and has a wonderfully three-dimensional design of a woman's face surrounded by her stylized flowing hair. The buckle was clearly a much enjoyed piece with some surface scratches and expected signs of the passage of time which add to the overall sentimental feel. Despite its age, this is still a strong and completely useable/wearable piece. It would be perfect to use either for its original purpose as a buckle, creatively repurposed into a one of a kind jewelry piece, or to display in a shadowbox collection of enchanting finds.
