Extremely Rare Antique Parisian Art Déco Spiderweb Earrings

These stunning earrings have such an air of dramatic mystique, featuring grandly proportioned, extremely rare original antique silvertone filigree Parisian Art Déco spiderwebs dating back to the 1910s. The dimensional webs shimmer with a sculpted texture that has the appearance of steel cut marcasite. Their delicacy makes them remarkably light and airy for their size. Newer silvertone chain and ear hooks have been added. On the webs, there are, of course, some signs of the passage of time over the past 100+ years, like some tiny missing facets — all part of their romantic time-worn patina, which is deeper-toned on the reverse side.
