Antique Japanese Imari Gilded Dishes

These stunning antique Imari presentation dishes were purchased in Japan in the 1940s (but were likely already vintage or antique at the time based on the other pieces they were acquired with) and have been well-cared for by my family ever since. They have exquisitely intricate hand painted patterns gilded with gold highlights on a multi-hued background of indigo, green, and vermillion. The design features natural and geometric motifs to highlight the changing seasons of the year with illustrations of pine, bamboo, plum or cherry blossoms. These are being offered individually and I have up to four matching ones available (the others have already sold).

MEASUREMENT: 12⅛" diameter across — a nice large size for the most festive occasions and special holiday meals.
